PangaeaBecoming a Participant

Currently, The Pangaea Project partners with high schools across the city to recruit our students, and each school partner designates a Partner Teacher to be Pangaea’s main contact. The Partner Teacher and other school faculty and staff lend a tremendous amount of support to Pangaea as we recruit, select, train, and journey with our participants. Not only do school partners recommend students and support them through the application process and the duration of the program, but they work with Pangaea staff closely to mitigate any challenges a participant may be facing. At this point, The Pangaea Project does not accept applications from students who do not attend one or our partner schools and meet our criteria, but in the years to come we will expand our partnerships to include more schools and community-based organizations across the city.
